Government College of Engineering Kannur (GCEK) is situated approximately 16 km north from Kannur city on the Kannur – Mangalore National Highway 66.
Nearest airport is Kannur International Airport (CNN), about 35 km from the venue (how to reach). Kozhikode International Airport (CCJ) and Mangaluru International Airport (IXE) are approximately 150 km away from the venue. International travellers can choose Bengaluru International Airport (BLR – 350 km) or Kochi International Airport (COK – 275 km) and then take a domestic flight to Kannur.
Kannur is well connected by train. You can get down at Kannur Railway Station (major station), and the new bus stand is just 400 m away, from where buses to GCEK are available. Taxis are also available at the railway station. Kannapuram Railway Station (minor station), the nearest station, is about 7 km from the college and is well connected by buses to Dharmasala. Vande Bharat trains are a fast and convenient option while travelling to Kannur from Mangalore, Calicut and Kochi.

Kannur has a good and reliable public transport network. Auto rickshaws and taxis are available from nearby stations to reach GCEK. If you have light luggage, buses are a convenient option. You can take buses towards Taliparamba, Payyannur, Kanhangad, Kasargod, Mangalore or Parassinikadavu from the new bus stand at Kannur. Get down at Dharmasala, which is at a walkable distance from the main gate. If you are coming from the Mangalore side, take any bus towards Kannur and get down at Dharmasala. Buses are available every five minutes on both sides of this route.
Several hotels are available near Payyambalam Beach in Kannur, including Hotel Blue Nile, Mascot Beach Resort, Krishna Beach Resort, Royal Omars, KTDC Loomland, etc. KTDC Folkland and Polariz hotels are good options near the venue. Transportation services will be provided on scheduled timings (mornings and evenings) from Kannur to the venue by the conference organizers.
