Internal Quality Assurance Cell

IQAC of GCEK aims to ensure accountability by developing and implementing processes for evaluating the quality of education, communicating the results of these evaluations to stakeholders, and taking steps to improve areas where performance is not meeting expectations.

Objectives :

1. To act as a nodal agency of the institution for quality related activities.
2. To build and ensure a quality culture aimed at all round excellence at the institutional level.
3. To channelize and systematize the efforts and measures of an institution towards academic excellence.
4.To facilitate the creation of a learner-centric environment conducive to quality education.
5.To disseminate information on various quality parameters to all stakeholders.
6. To build an organized methodology of documentation and internal communication.

Responsibilities :

1. Developing and implementing a comprehensive quality assurance plan for the institution. This plan should include measures to ensure the quality of teaching, learning, research, and other aspects of the institution's activities .
2. Monitoring and evaluating the quality of education in the institution. This includes collecting data on student learning outcomes, conducting surveys of students, faculty, and staff, and reviewing the institution's curriculum and teaching methods.
3. Providing advice and support to the institution on matters related to quality assurance. This includes providing training to faculty and staff on quality assurance, helping the institution to develop and implement new quality assurance initiatives, and representing the institution in external quality assurance processes.
4. Promoting a culture of continuous improvement in the institution. This includes encouraging faculty and staff to reflect on their teaching and research practices, and to identify ways to improve the quality of education and research in the institution.
